The use and connection of electrical devices such as kettles, immersion heaters, hotplates, irons, etc., are not permitted in the entire building of the "Lighthouse Apartments".
The accommodation is equipped with an internet connection via Wi-Fi. The use of the internet is at your own risk and expense. The provided access data must not be shared with third parties. The provision is made within the framework of the existing technical possibilities. Disruptions cannot be ruled out. There is no claim to availability, suitability, or reliability of the internet access. It is prohibited to use chargeable services via the internet connection. Any use that violates data protection, personal rights, copyright, trademark law, or criminal law is prohibited. This particularly, but not exclusively, concerns the violation of copyrights and other rights of third parties through the use of "peer-to-peer networks" or illegal file sharing, the dissemination and public accessibility of harmful and illegal content, including the sending of unsolicited mass emails (spamming) and viruses, the transmission and posting of offensive, defamatory, unconstitutional, racist, sexist, harassing, or otherwise unlawful content, the visit of websites with criminally relevant content such as websites with inciting or child pornographic content, websites that instruct on crimes or glorify or trivialize violence, as well as websites that are likely to seriously endanger the moral development of children and adolescents, the intrusion or attempted intrusion into foreign data networks (hacking). The guest is responsible for their own or third-party content made available on the internet. The guest must ensure that the respective device is equipped with sufficient security software. The guest indemnifies the operator of the "Lighthouse Homes", the Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability), from any claims of third parties, in particular costs for downloads, online transactions of any kind, warning fees, and other fees arising from the use during the stay. In the event of unauthorized use of the internet access, the operator of the "Lighthouse Homes", the Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability), is entitled to restrict or completely block the internet access or to block access to certain sites or services.
The key cards or the digital key must not be handed over. Forwarding the digital key to non-residents is prohibited and will result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement. The key cards are magnetic. The key cards must not come into contact with other magnetic objects such as wallets, mobile phones, mobile phone cases, credit cards, etc., as this can discharge the key card and thus access to the main entrance and the apartments may not be possible. In the event of the key card discharging, the operator of the "Lighthouse Homes", the Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability), must be informed via the above-mentioned email address. In the event of repeated discharging of the key card, a processing fee of €100.00 including VAT per use will be charged to the guest. The loss of the key card and the digital key must be reported immediately. The guest is liable for the loss of the key card up to the amount of the replacement costs for the affected locks and keys. Additionally, a fee of €150.00 including VAT will be charged for the necessary work.
Food residues, waste, hygiene products, harmful liquids, fats, or similar must not be disposed of in the shower and toilet, as this can lead to blockages. The costs for removing blockages caused by guests will be charged to the responsible guest. To protect against water damage, the bathrooms are equipped with water contacts. Splashing water outside the sink and shower should be avoided, as contact with water will shut off the water supply in the apartment. In the event of a water shutdown, the operator of the "Lighthouse Homes", the Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability), must be informed immediately via the above-mentioned email address. Each water shutdown caused by the guest will be charged to the guest with a fee of €150.00 including VAT.
Night rest from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM must be observed. During the night rest, the use of the shower should be avoided as much as possible. Noise is to be avoided. It is expressly pointed out that in the event of noise disturbances, measures can be taken against the perpetrator, up to and including the extraordinary termination of the accommodation contract, in the interest of all guests. The midday rest from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM must be observed. Even outside the quiet hours, consideration must be given to other guests, and unnecessary noise must be avoided.
Animals are not allowed in the entire building.
The front door and room doors must be kept closed. Personal belongings should be stored in the rooms. Personal items, shoes, or luggage must not be left in the hallway and stairwell. Escape routes and corridors must always be kept clear. Items of any kind and luggage left in the escape routes and corridors will be removed and can be picked up from the Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability) as the operator of the "Lighthouse Homes". Until the items are picked up, a flat fee of €30.00 including VAT per item/luggage will be charged to the guest. After the guest's departure, uncollected luggage and items will be handed over to the Rostock lost and found office.
Damage must be reported immediately. Guests are liable for damage to the building and inventory caused by them according to legal regulations. Property damage and theft will be reported to the police.
The Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability) as the operator of the "Lighthouse Homes" assumes no liability for the loss, destruction, or damage of valuables, provided the guest is responsible for the loss, destruction, or damage. Valuables should preferably not be left in the apartment. Break-ins, thefts, destruction, or damage must be reported immediately to the Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability) and the police.
Receiving visitors in the apartments is generally not allowed. After prior arrangement and registration of visitors, approval can be granted in individual cases. The overnight stay of non-residents is prohibited.
There is no claim to the availability of a parking space or parking spot. When using the parking spaces of the "Lighthouse Homes", no storage contract is concluded. No liability is assumed for damage or loss of parked or maneuvered vehicles and bicycles and their contents on or in front of the property.
The apartments are cleaned after departure. The costs for removing extraordinary dirt caused by a guest will be charged to the guest.
Guests are not allowed to pursue their own commercial purposes in the rooms of the "Lighthouse Homes".
For the duration of the stay, towels are provided. These are intended for exclusive use in the bathroom. Taking the towels to the outside area, such as the beach, is not allowed. In case of violations, a cleaning fee of €20.00 including VAT per towel will be charged. In case of loss of the towels, the replacement value per towel will be charged to the guest.
Dishes, cutlery, and kitchen appliances must be handled carefully and stored clean and dry in the cupboards. Frying food is not allowed due to the fire hazard and to avoid grease deposits and odors. Food residues, waste, harmful liquids, fat, or similar must not be disposed of in the sink, as this can lead to blockages. The costs for removing blockages caused by guests will be charged to the responsible guest.
Washing and drying laundry in the room, kitchen, and bathroom is prohibited.
Waste must be separated and disposed of in the respective provided containers.
Smoking, e-cigarettes of any kind, and open fire (e.g., candles) are prohibited in the entire building. Damage caused by disregarding this prohibition, such as holes in or on the furniture, floor, bed linen, etc., will be charged at the respective replacement value. In case of violations against the smoking ban, an additional cleaning fee of €300.00 including VAT will be charged. For measures such as fire brigade, police, or rescue service operations to avert actual or perceived dangers to guests, staff, and the building, if these are due to intentional or negligent behavior of guests, the responsible guests are liable.
Brought electrical devices, except for CE-certified razors, hairdryers, and chargers, are not allowed to be used and connected in the entire building of the "Lighthouse Apartments".
The consumption and trade of prohibited narcotics are prohibited in the entire building of the "Lighthouse Homes" and will result in the immediate termination of the accommodation contract as well as an immediate house ban and expulsion.
Weapons and dangerous items must not be brought into the building of the "Lighthouse Homes".
The Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability) exercises the house rules as the operator of the "Lighthouse Homes". It is allowed for the Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability), their legal representatives, or their agents to enter the apartments for the purpose of cleaning or necessary maintenance/repairs. The instructions of the Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability), their legal representatives, or their agents must be followed. In case of disturbances of the house peace or violation of the house rules, the Baltic Ostseepension UG (limited liability) is authorized to take measures to restore order. House bans and house expulsions can be issued after repeated warnings or in case of gross violations of the house peace without warning. Such measures do not release the guest from their payment obligation regarding the booked overnight stays as well as any claims for damages.

All furnishings in the rented apartment (accommodation) may be used for the duration of the rental. The furnishings and inventory of the entire building as well as in the rented apartments must be handled carefully and responsibly. Furnishings and inventory must not be removed from the apartments and the building. Rearranging the apartments and moving furniture is not allowed.
Arrival is possible from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On the day of departure, the apartments must be vacated by 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure is not possible.
Upon request, beds for small children can be provided subject to availability. There is no claim or guarantee for availability. Children must be supervised. Playing, romping, and climbing in the hallways, stairwell, and outdoor areas, especially balconies and terraces, is not allowed. Children may only enter the balconies or terraces under the supervision of their parents. Parents must always ensure that children use the apartments and outdoor areas only for their intended purpose.
Windows and doors must be closed when leaving the apartment to avoid damage caused by storms. The heating only operates with closed doors and windows. The room temperature is controlled automatically. When ventilating, the heating system automatically switches off. Therefore, it is requested to ventilate twice a day. Electrical devices, except for the refrigerator, must be turned off before leaving the apartment.
For access to the main entrance and the respective apartments, a key card or a digital key is provided to the guest.
